MCG is pleased to announce the completion of the acquisition of MC2D-MCG1102, Barents Super Tie.

In a very busy seismic season, MCG is pleased by the performance of MAGE's seismic vessel Nalivkin, which has acquired 6 464 km of high quality, long offset 2D data tieing all the important wells in the Norwegian Barents Sea. We have also tied in this years drilling program, but were not able to tie the Nordvarg discovery due to drilling rig on location.

The seismic data will now be processed by CGGVeritas and is expected to be available to oil companies early December 2011. The seismc ties to the wells will be performed by Rock Solid Images.
